Course Description:
This course explores the historical foundations of American economic growth and development from colonial times to the present. The study of economic history provides scholars the opportunity to understand and analyze, from an historical perspective, the impact of institutional and structural changes within the American economy.
For my final project, I have written a five page reflection-type paper about Cotton. The knowledge I gained on this topic came from our textbook, a brief article, and a video from The History Channel (see works cited for more information).
